Booking terms

These terms apply to stays booked on this site. Stays taken on Airbnb or Booking.com follow the terms of those platforms.

The let

Le gîte du Colombier is rented as a whole, at 2 Allée de la Ferme, 27110 Sainte-Opportune-du-Bosc, as a place to stay, for up to 14 people. The house is not shared.

Price

The price shown for July and August is a nightly price for the whole house. End-of-stay cleaning is added. Outside high season, until a rate is published, a request is not a contract: the host confirms the price, then the stay.

The tourist tax is extra when it is due, at the rate in force in the commune.

Option and deposit

When a rate is shown, the booking places an option and blocks the dates, including on the Airbnb and Booking.com calendars connected to the site. The option lasts for the period shown at the time of booking. It is confirmed when the host records the 30% deposit. Without confirmation within that period, the dates become free again.

The balance is due before arrival, by the method the host indicates. Payment details are not stored on this site.

Cancellation

More than 30 days before arrival: the deposit is kept, and any amount already paid beyond it is returned. Less than 30 days before arrival: the stay remains due. The host may offer a change of dates when the calendar allows it, without being obliged to.

Calendars

The site imports the Airbnb and Booking.com calendars and exports direct bookings to them. Those platforms reread calendars with a delay, often a few hours. During that delay, the same date can in theory be taken on both sides. If that happens, the host contacts the guests to find a way through. The booking page does not promise instant synchronisation.

The pool and the stay

The pool is private and heated. It is offered from May to September. Swimming is unsupervised. Pets and smoking are neither allowed nor forbidden by these terms: they are confirmed with the host when you book.
