Three chickens belong to the house.
At Le gîte du Colombier, the garden is not only for the outdoor table and the pool. Three chickens live there too: Snow, the white one; Anna, the brown one; and Sven, the black one.
They cross the lawn, peck about, and remind you that the house is a place of life, not only a place to stay.
